The Power of Your Imagination…
IN THE BEGINNING…
While using his very own divine spiritual imagination the Most High God Our Heavenly Father created the heavens and the earth. Although, he is not limited by any time constraints, he would then go on and create the under water world at sea. Since time was no factor, he would design a concept that would be used to govern his living creatures. He called it light to represent the new day and darkness to represent the night. Remember, there is no date of record for this most divine project, The Bible simply says IN THE BEGINNING…not In 1472, or 1971 but IN THE BEGINNING!
WHAT IS MAN?
“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visit him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:”(Psalms 8:3-7) This means you were created with the power over Satan as well. Scripture teaches us that our strength is in him. “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.” (Philippians 4:13) Father God would honor the first man by creating him in His very own image or should I say, imagination. He would give him the supreme stewardship responsibility and assignment to serve as his ambassador; made with ordained power from above, and was given dominance over all of the other living creatures on earth.
WHAT ARE THE COMMON DENOMINATORS OF CREATION?
One of the common denominators that stands out is the fact that each time He would create, he would always speak it into existence first. “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” (Deuteronomy 30:19) This principle tells us that there is absolute power in the spoken word. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” (Proverbs:18:21) Since we were created in his image, we too inherit the exact same ability. A couple of additional attributes that I have discovered in my search for understanding is the fact that he made us all as free will creatures with the ability and privilege of choice exemplified throughout the entire Scriptures. Also, the spiritual imagination has always been an innate spiritual gift that God has provided for his children. Case and point, consider the Tower of Babel...“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” (Genesis 11:6) In conclusion, the element of divine, true agape love was always the feature ingredient used whenever God was involved. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
