Are You Diligently Seeking the Kingdom?
DO YOU KNOW YOUR SPIRITUAL DILIGENCE DUTY?
But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Joshua 22:5) And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: (Deuteronomy 28:1) For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Then will the Lord drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. (Deuteronomy 11:22-23) Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. (Psalms 119:4) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK:
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 for everyone that asked receives; and he that seek shall find; and to him that knocked it shall be opened. (Matthew 7:6-8) Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. (Proverbs 7:15) He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. (Proverbs 10:4) Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons’ sons; (Deuteronomy 4:9) Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee. (Deuteronomy 6:17) Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations. (Job 21:2) Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears. (Job 13:17)
According to Scripture, we can see that God is the great giver and re warder of those who will diligently seek him. This is our personal covenant that God has declared over all of our lives as believers. The questions are not whether or not you believe (even Satan believes) and accept God as your spiritual source, but:
- Are you DILIGENTLY seeking his face?
- Do you want to receive your rewards from the Creator?
- Are you regularly listening to the word of God?
- How many CROWNS do you seek to receive from God?
- Are you aware that diligently seeking the word of God is a COMMANDMENT and not merely a suggestion?
- Did you know that when you obey the commandment of diligently seeking God, you are actually receiving the end of your faith and the salvation of your soul?
- Do you teach your children and your grandchildren the importance of diligently seeking the word of God as he has commanded you to do?
- Are you getting fat on the word of God?
