“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”(Hebrews 11:6).

ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH…

“And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you”(Matthew 9:28-29).

The primary essence of this topic is about “recieving” through our faith, our petitions and/or prayer request from God. Our title Scripture is in context actually referring to our belief and faith pertaining to healing. Our synoptic disciples; Matthew, Mark, and Luke all record testimony on this topic. However, the common denominator, or central point was the emphasis that each writer suggest placed on how the required faith for each healing was not based on God, not based on the devil, not based on angels, or even the Holy Spirit. The healing was delivered only according to our faith. Ultimately, it is imperative that we begin to understand as well as accept the fact that our Heavenly Father’s will is for us to have the things we desire. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”(Philippians 4:19). Certainly, as an omniscient God (Creator), He already knows what we desire before we even ask. However, He still wants us to come to His throne with our prayers. According to the inspired by God testimony of Mark, he admonishes us how regarding our prayer-life protocol that when we prayBELIEVE. “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”(Mark 11:24).

Consider what the passage is not saying, it does not suggest that we should wait until our prayer has been answered before we believe. “As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were(Romans 4:17). Think about it, How much faith is required to believe if we have already seen the prayer manifested?  Additionally, if we continue to read we will discover there is another significant requirement in your pursuit to recieve from on high your prayers. “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses”(Mark 11:25). This passage is careful to remind us of the importance of forgiveness. Our Lord God desires a loving personal relationship with the believer.  He wants us to ackowledge Him in all parts of our life. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”(Proverbs 3:6). He is the greatest giver! Therefore, as a just and loving God; He has provided us with everything we will need to recieve from Him.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith”(Romans 12:3).

Also, this spiritual concept to obtaining effective praying and recieving applies to our healing, prosperity, health, deliverance from strongholds in our lives, our personal desires, and even the power over death and life. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”(Proverbs 18:21). Scripture states how if we as Saints want to have true fellowship in our worship with God and want to please Him; we must have FAITH! But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”(Hebrews 11:6). This suggest additional conditions that the believer must adhere to in order to achieve effective prayer protocol. For instance, we must become a diligent seeker of the word of God, who comes to serve Him; believing, and knowing that He is your father, your God, your provider, your redeemer, and with your positive confession of faith believing that He is a generous rewarder to those who have chosen to walk by faith, and not by sight. “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith”(Romans 1:17).
